Science at the intersection of atmosphere and hydrology
Our lab investigates hydrological and meteorological systems across a range of spatial and temporal scales, with a focus on their complex interactions.
We integrate in-situ measurements, remote sensing, experimental field sites, mathematical modeling, and advanced computational methods to study processes such as rainfall-runoff dynamics and climate-driven impacts on environmental systems.
Research topics include quantitative precipitation estimation using radar, hydrological modeling, flash flood generation, drought analysis, urban flooding, and the application of machine learning techniques in hydrometeorological modeling.
Looking for Outstanding Students!
We’re recruiting post-docs , PhD, and Master’s students for research in hydrometeorology
