I am an early career scientist working on hydrological extremes (drought and flood). In my current position at the Hydrometeorology Lab, I am focusing on hydrological processes and flood propagation in natural and human-water systems. My work includes hydrological modeling, statistical analysis of water budget components, and examination of hydrological components in flood propagation. Previously, my Ph.D. research work was on the understanding of drought risk in the observed and future warming climate to provide robust information of drought projections with minimum uncertainty. The uncertainties in drought projections due to different datasets (observational and climate models) and methods were quantified during my Ph.D. using the new methods and approaches.
